Allison Gygi wrote her first documented story in third grade from an old word processor in the computer lab of her elementary school. Since then, she has crafted countless tales both on paper and in her head. After several years of trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life, including brief stints working in the retail, childcare, public health and travel industries, she found her way back to her love of fiction and is finally chasing after her dream of writing books for a living.
As a mom of a smart, responsible daughter and two mischievous but lovable boys, Allison’s days are spent trying to fit in a few minutes of writing in between the constant diaper changes, never-ending dishes and helping kids with homework. When she’s not writing or chasing kids, she loves to read, hike and travel. She lives with her forever love and three minions in a cute suburb north of Chicago.
